Established in 2003, Kallos Turin is an international design firm based in London and San Francisco providing both architecture and interior design services. The firm’s work has a foundation in historical typologies – from courtyard houses that date back thousands of years to Adolf Loos’s Raumplan – but in terms of language favors a restrained and abstracted approach to form-making. After 20 years in practice, a consistency of abstraction has emerged and even a bit of ruthlessness in it. At the same time, moments of whimsy, extravagance or eccentricity are introduced as counterpoints to the reductiveness of pure minimalism and as a way to make each project highly personal. Past and current projects include high-end single family homes and residential developments as well as office, restaurant, gallery and retail projects. The partners work one on one with clients from concept design to the selection of each material, offering a highly tailored, personal and enjoyable approach to the design process. Kallos Turin has been widely published in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, The World of Interiors, Wallpaper, Monocle, and Dezeen amongst others.

Awards and honors include the prestigious International Award from the Royal Institute of British Architects, Est Living’s Esteemed 10, and the Architectural Digest AD 100 list.
